a train of thought - lost

Still life

... and Mila had turned into a fish, she would bark at the other fish and lead them to the riverbed to help me when I went fishing, when we got back home I asked Dad if I'd die too and Dad said that everything dies one day and that's just the way life is, so everything dies, and he said yes, that was the price for being alive and that was why every day was very important, an in bed I closed my eyes and tried to imagine what it would be like to go to sleep forever and I got bored because it was boring and the next morning I told Dad that if I died he was not to hurry into throwing me in the river but rather be patient and wait because I'd find a way of waking up.
